A.MAR is a Portuguese brand and a play on words between "love" and "sea".
It is a tribute to the transformative power of the sea. And just as the sea is a source of life and renewal, each piece of clothing is a reminder of the power to reinvent ourselves and the transformative power of self-love.

I was born by the sea, the Atlantic, which I love, whether summer or winter. And I always wanted to have my own business. After 10 years working with brands as an advertiser, I decided to go back to where I started, which was a family business, selling clothing brands. I opened my own store in the center of Lisbon and grew the Mentol brand, with all the know-how of the family matriarch, Ana, my mother and mentor.

A few years later, my twin sister, who I grew up with, my accomplice and one of the people who knows me best, also joined the business.

Now I'm starting over again, a new brand, but this time alone. Leaving my comfort zones becomes "my normal" ;)
